As I enter my studio and focus on my work, the outside world seems to come to a standstill. I have a passion for my work that burns strongly and seems to give me limitless energy.

Each brush stroke is a release of this energy...a deliverance. A form of expression from within that words cannot describe. As I express myself through painting, rare are the premeditations, rare are the intentions. The canvas comes to life through a give and take process with the artist, until ...with success the harmonyemerges. When I have a need for striking contrast to achieve certain dramatic effects,I will, at times work with a spatula to give more volume to highlight an area. Always busy, my work is always spontaneous. I particularly enjoy when I capture the emotion of the moment through femininity and the insight provided by human expression.
